Legend of the Guardians
Have been a very busy this year working on a bunch of TV commercials, and most recently working with an incredible team at Animal Logic on Zach Snyder’s “Legend of the Guardians”. It looks amazing so far, and is scheduled for a September 2010 international release. Check out the trailer!

“Which way? Our Way! A Strong Community Way”

Client: FNQ Films/Queensland Health
The client needed a full 2D animation for this indigenous health and community campaign. The characters went through several concepts before arriving at our heroes here. The best part is how wholeheartedly communities have embraced this campaign and it’s message.

Client: Leary Builders
A 3D character was required to be concepted, modelled, rigged and animated for this TVC. We took this job from conception through to final delivery, through several iterations of the Character, until “Toady” was finally realised.

“Meet Eric - part genius, part Casanova, all mongrel. Just a step out of the gutter but fast-talking his way out of trouble. Until the day he meets Louise and falls hard. Now he’s got to enlist the help of her feral brother, Dougie, to outsmart rich kid Martin, bikers, bankers, Goths, fetishists and Australia’s richest man, a bigger con-man than Eric himself. For this project I was required to come up with an engaging intro title sequence and execute it through to completion as well as the end credits. In addition to this I had two SFX shots and had to complete one TVC titled “Extreme Makeover” which was featured in the film. Some of the different elements I worked on are shown in this post.
